Really disappointing experience at Yugert. I asked for 3 flavors in one cup and was told they only allow 2 flavors, even though it was the same amount of ice cream. After I questioned it, the employee said, “I’ll do it only for you today,” which made me feel uncomfortable and singled out over a very simple request. Coming from a state where frozen yogurt shops are self-serve and you simply pay by weight, this felt unnecessarily rude and controlling. I ended up leaving offended and disappointed by the customer service.

the owner (old grumpy man who’s always there) was so rude and pressured me and my friend to order quickly as soon as we arrived in the store, then went back to watching his tv program blasting in the back when we said we needed a minute. We kept waiting for him to come back and were waiting in the ordering area for 10 minutes while he kept glaring at us until we finally left. really hostile, unsettling vibe and experience.

First of all the smoothie bowls looks like soup. The way he poured it into the bowl, I was scared. Second, the man (owner?) taking our order is very aggressive and had us nervous to ask for chocolate sauce and two spoons. He’s watching Fox News and the yogurt is actually just ice cream. There is no fro yo here I fear and I’m disappointed they advertise as a fro yo shop. Never coming here again. I hope this place goes out of business, even though I assume it never will because it’s had bad reviews for 10 years.

I decided to come in and try this place instead of playa bowls. When I arrived, the place had an eerie vibe to it. I had an açai bowl, which was good and the fruit portions were amazing. The fruits was served without a scoop, which was a concern because the individual serving me simply grabbed the fruit without changing gloves, cross contaminating. This could have been a problem for people who may have allergies to certain ingredients. When the bowl was formed, the blender was also not clean. In addition, the bowl was pricey for what it was. I didn’t taste any açaí. All I tasted was a mixed berry and it had the consistency of a smoothie not a smoothie bowl. If you’re craving fruit on its own it’s a great place for it.
